Description

An easy and delicious vegetarian lasagna made with layers of noodles, rich tomato sauce, and a blend of cheeses.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 9 lasagna noodles
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 cup chopped spinach
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions.
  3. Spread 1 cup of marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.
  4. Layer 3 noodles over the sauce.
  5. Combine ricotta cheese, spinach, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  6. Spoon half of the ricotta mixture over the noodles.
  7. Add 1 cup of marinara sauce and one third of the mozzarella cheese on top.
  8. Repeat the layers: noodles, ricotta mixture, marinara sauce, and mozzarella.
  9. Finish with a final layer of noodles, remaining marinara sauce, and top with Parmesan cheese.
  10. Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes.
  11. Let cool for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

Allowing the lasagna to rest before slicing will help it hold its shape.
